I interviewed a memelord

Another Sunday. Another new episode of The Kanso Show.

For episode three, I was joined by the memelord himself, Jason Levin.

Jason is the author of Memes Make Millions and the founder of Memelord Technologies, a software platform used by everyone from solo creators to public companies like Coinbase, Semrush, and HubSpot to create viral memes that (you guessed it!) make millions.

He’s also the co-creator of his new show, Silly Valley Ventures.

Despite being terminally online, Jason carves out more time for solitude and deep thinking than anyone I know.

He’s also a master of turning online relationships into meaningful offline connections (he had an entire table of Twitter friends, me included, at his wedding!), so it was fun to hear how he blends the two worlds.

We cover:

  • Why humor is the last frontier untouched by AI

  • The "barbell theory" of being either fully online or fully offline (and avoiding the miserable middle)

  • How turning your real experiences into content is the ultimate content hack

  • The art of making internet friends

  • The surprising power of sending no-strings-attached compliments to creators you admire

  • How a simple journaling practice provides his clearest thinking

Pumped to hear your feedback!

See you Wednesday,

Randy
